This series depicts a neo-pop art genre in which popular celebrities and household names are portrayed as if one is looking at the painting through a camera lens or a mobile phone. There are endless photographic filtration possibilities on apps and digital editing softwares and these paintings are both inspired by and reflect this phenomenon.
